Prada Candy Sugar Pop


Prada’s saturated sweetness is never as simple as it would have us believe, a wolf in sheep’s clothing – probably something ostrich-trimmed and crepe de chine, no less. Since 2011, the label’s decadently layered Candy scent has been breaking hearts with its coquettish complexity, but now there’s a new confection to crush on.

Prada Candy Sugar Pop sends the sugar levels sky-high with a hard hit of frothy, soda-float vanilla, bound with the biting nectar of ripe peach. The caramel center that carried the original melts away into a grassy melody of green apple, bergamot leaf and lime, allowing the lighter notes to linger, leaving gluttons for that calorific buttery bonbon core wanting more. The elegant dome-topped vessel, inspired by the iconic tri-tone Saffiano leather bag, glows with a lighter, sorbet hue, trimmed and capped with sherbet-dipped finishes, available as a 30ml, 50ml or 80ml Eau de Parfum.
